As we continue to enhance your experience with eRemit, we have included the instructions below to assist you in updating your Compatibility Settings for Internet Explorer. If you would prefer to use our alternate electronic remittance website, which is not browser specific, please contact us at 1-800-853-6399, option 4, option 1:

To support your experience with eRemit, we are providing instructions on how to access Internet Explorer from a Windows computer.

Click your START button, you should see a search field. Start typing "INT" and you should see Internet Explorer app at the top, click to open.

When you open Internet Explorer for the first time since the Microsoft Update, it may ask you about letting Internet Explorer open sites in Microsoft Edge, Change to Never and login to eRemit.

If your company has moved to Microsoft Edge as your default browser, you will need to check your browser settings.

  1. Open Microsoft Edge browser
  2. Click on the three dots in the top right corner "..."
  3. Click on Settings
  4. Click on Default Browser
  5. In the section: Let Internet Explorer open sites in Microsoft Edge, Change to Never
  6. Close Microsoft Edge browser
  7. Open Internet Explorer and access eRemit: https://groups.valic.com/eremit/
  8. Log into eRemit

    If you receive a message about your Internet Explorer browser, please follow these steps:

  1. Open Internet Explorer and access eRemit: https://groups.valic.com/eremit/ 
  2. Click on Tools and then Compatibility View Settings
  3. In the Add this website field, enter: valic.com
  4. Click Add
  5. Log into eRemit
